Hi

I know this isn't for this thread however it won't let me start a new one.

Does any body on here know how much a mk1 renault 5 gordini turbo is worth.  I have one in resto condition and just want a heads up on how much it could fetch

Hi Lewis

In fact this is the wrong thread, maybe our administrator will move it to the right place.

The r5 you have has a mid engine and rear wheel drive? Or has it a front engine and front wheel drive? Is it right hand driven?

lewis.j.bradley

It's not the t2 it's the front engine front wheel drive and it's right hand drive

But it is the mk1 not the gt turbo shape

I am not the front wheel drive r5 specialist, but to give you an idea, the prices depend dramatically on the condition of the car. Rust is a big issue on this cars. Price can start for one in bad condition and not running at 1000€, in running order but with bodywork at 5000€ and in excellent condition close as new at 13000€ like the one in the link.

Maybe you can put some pics online and the front wheel specialists will judge them...

Hi Lewis,

Don't forget, that right hand driven cars are only interesting in the UK within Europe. Means that all comparisons to prices on the continent are maybe wrong - a right hand driven car don't brings up the money on contintental Europe.
As Daniel mentioned, value is dependent of condition, year of manufacturing doesn't matter that much. Cars in original shape are more worthful in the meantime, tuning excesses of the 1990s put pressure on price.
If you could show some pictures an estimation of price would be easier.
